First and foremost, the beautiful creature you see in my arms (left) is the love of my life.
Her name is Puggy and she's my best buddy. So if you're not an animal
lover then you might as well leave now...
Because I can't take Puggy to my apartment in the mountains, I have 2 other companions there... Simone, a lop-eared bunny, and Winston, a rhino iguana. I also share a couple reptiles with my boyfriend, Marcos (with whom they reside). We have Art- a beautiful green anole, and a gecko named Afflack. I know the
basics but am still new to reptile care, so any advice or stories you have about these creatures is welcome.
In addition to taking care of pets, I am pursuing my M.A. in Counseling at
Appalachian State University, most likely concentrating in Expressive Arts.
Other areas of interest are sexual assault, domestic violence, substance abuse, diversity
issues, spirituality, music, herb gardening, and literature.
