First and foremost, the beautiful
creature you see in my arms (left) is the love of my life.
Her name is Puggy and she was my best buddy. Sadly, Puggy passed away in June of this year. I miss her, but she will always be in my heart.
I do have a little pug boy. Meet Tyler and try not to get your fingers chomped by this rambunctious boy! Other animal companions are Simone, a mini lop bunny, and a bearded dragon named Chloe.
In addition to taking care of pets, I am pursuing my M.A. in Counseling at
Appalachian State University, with an emphasis in Expressive Arts. At the present time, I also work as a legal assistant.
Other areas of interest are sexual assault, domestic violence, substance abuse, diversity
issues, spirituality, music, herb gardening, and scrapbooking.
Oh, can't forget this - Marcos and I bought a house together last year! We had so much help with it. Mom, Gary and Maria helped us move. Maria & Antonio and Marc's grandmother gave us the down payment, and there is no way we could have done this without all their help! It is great owning a home for the first time - lots of work and a lot of fun.
