A Peace Bath

Draw a bath for yourself.
Pour about a tablespoon of milk into a large bowl of water.
Add several rose petals (fresh or dried) to the bowl of water and milk.
Stir the water, milk, and rose petals with the index finger of your right hand.
Gently pour the mixture that you have created into the bath.

During your preparation for the bath, say:

Water ripples on the breeze...
Thistledown flies through the air...
Silent as the mighty seas...
Peaceful here without a care...

Step into the water and bathe as long as you wish. Let the water absorb negative thoughts and worries. Allow yourself a few moments of healing peace.

Variations: If rose petals are not available, you may substitute rosewater or use fresh sprigs or essential oil of lavender.-- Also, you may feel inspired to use a different verse while preparing the bath water. There are no limitations.

(*Note*** Although baths tend to be more effective, you can also perform this ritual in the shower. Use a smaller bowl filled with very warm water. Follow the same directions but, instead of pouring the mixture into the tub, pour it over your head.)
